2. Directed by Reema Kagti

Reema Kagti last directed Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s supernatural drama Talaash in 2012.

We have high expectations from Reema, as both her directorial ventures Honeymoon Travels Pty Ltd and Talaash have been impressive pieces of work.

3. Mouni Roy makes her Bollywood debut

After a successful television career, Mouni Roy
will debut opposite Akshay Kumar.

Although not much is known about her character in the film.

4. Fictional or Biopic?

When the makers announced the film, many Speculated the film to be a biopic on former hockey legend Balbir Singh, who led India to its first ever independent Olympic win in 1948.

The Director and the Producer’s confirmed that the film is a fictional story and not a biopic, set against a real backdrop between 1933 and 1948.

5. Patriotic films are the flavour of the season with the likes of Raazi , Parmanu & Mulk finding acclaim from audience all across. A patriotic film releasing on Independence Day is a formula of success.
