| CATCH THE SENSATIONAL PRATIBHA SINGH BAGHEL LIVE AT THE LYRIC THEATRE, GOLD REEF CITY ON 29 JAN 2023The sensational songstress from India, Pratibha Singh Baghel will feature in the inaugural edition of The Inner Circle Sessions at The Lyric Theatre, Gold Reef City on Sunday 29 Jan 2023. The whole idea of the The Inner Circle Sessions is to have an authentically live, unplugged and intimate performance. We have assembled the finest team of musicians led by music director, ace flautist Ashwin Srinivasan (from AR Rahman’s current live concert band). The rest of the team includes: Akhlak Hussain Varsi (harmonium), Arshad Khan (esraj), Darshan Doshi (drums), Manoj Kumar (dholak), Ojas Adhiya (tabla), Sangeet Haldipur (piano), Sanjoy Das (acoustic guitar) and Sheldon D’Silva (bass guitar). Pratibha will perform a range of Bollywood classics, ghazals and current hits reimagined by this amazing band. The concert is modelled on the style of the popular Coke Studio performances and many of the artists on this concert have performed on various episodes of Coke Studio. “Inner Circle has over the past 19 years brought giants of Indian Music to South Africa, including Pt Shivkumar Sharma, Pt Hariprasad Chaurasia, Ustad Zakir Hussain, Pandit Jasraj, Jagjit Singh and many more. In line with our philosophy of producing extremely high quality concerts we have handpicked these musicians for this tour. Together with a versatile artist like Pratibha Singh Baghel we are confident that this production will be spectacular,” says Nisaar Pangarker, Director of Inner Circle Entertainment.
