Shah Rukh Khan began acting in theatre productions, and he later appeared on television in the late 80s and early 90s.
In 1992 he made his Bollywood debut with Deewana, and never looked back.
Khan experimented with his next three films as he played the anti hero in Darr, Baazighar & Anjaam.
Producer, Director Yash Chopra took him under his wing and advised him to do romantic films, as that will increase his popularity.
This lead to his rise as he broke several box office records with films such as Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Mohabbatein & Kabi Khushi Kabi Gham amongst others.
Khan also went onto essay critically acclaimed roles in Swades, Chake De India! & My Name Is Khan.
On the 26 June 2018, the “Badshah of Bollywood” completed 26 years.
While his recent films did not create the hype that surrounded his previous releases.
Dear Zindagi and Raees managed to assure fans that his here to stay.
